The mission of Gift of Hope’s Share Program
is to assist disadvantaged families in Taney County,
primarily throughout the Holiday season, by identifying
their needs and customizing support for them to become
self reliant.
The Gift of Hope Team will “adopt” approximately
50-60 families during the holiday season and provide
them with food, clothing, housing payments, utility
payments, and Christmas gifts if needed. The Gift
of Hope is excited to bring other community groups
in to help with this program such as church youth
groups, school groups, and more.
Fundraising comes from events such as the Annual Bowl-a-Thon, Little Miss Merry Christmas, community grants and others.

The School Days Program exists to provide children with a reliable pair of shoes for the school year. Gift of Hope works side-by-side with Taney County school counselors in order to assess needs, communicate with parents, and provide children with the correct shoe sizes to play and work comfortably throughout the school year.

The Gift of Hope recognizes the need for children
in school to have proper nutrition in order to be
physically and psychologically prepared for a learning
environment. We also recognize how expensive feeding
a family can be.
The Gift of Hope adapted a
program named “The BackPack Club” that reaches children in Forsyth Elementary, Branson Primary, Bradleyville Elementary, Kirbyville Elementary and Taneyville Elementary. This
program provides children that might not otherwise
receive a sufficient amount of food on the weekends
with a backpack filled with nutritious, child-friendly
food:
- Small juice boxes
- Individually wrapped crackers
- Fruit bars
- Tuna pouches
- Pop top cans of fruit
- Small bags of Trail Mix
- Pudding cups
- Pop top cans of spaghetti and beef
- Stew
- Individually wrapped toaster pastries
- 10 oz. boxes of wheat crackers
- Toothbrushes and toothpaste
- Shampoo
- Deodorant
Approximately 200 children benefit each week from this innovative,
life-saving program! If you have any questions or would like to help in any way, please call 417.546.8062.

The Scholarship program is solely funded through
generous donations by National Enzyme Company’s
CEO, Anthony Collier. The mission of the scholarship
program is to help graduates of Taney County further
their education by providing a source of financial
relief during the college years. Qualifications for
the scholarship program include average cumulative
grade point average of 3.0 or higher, ACT composite
score of 19, and there must be a financial need.
The Gift of Hope’s Scholarship Program has
helped over 30 students achieve success in their
college endeavors.
